Working on the new stuff

So we changed up a lot of things this year. Hopefully it will all work out. We are using Beast Academy for our Math this year.  So far we both love it! The Hellion loves the colors and comic book style of the guide book. I love that he is doing it without any complaints! We added in The History of US for U.S. History. We haven’t started it yet, but it looks promising. We are using Science Fusion for science this year. I just got it in yesterday and we looked through it. The Hellion seems excited about getting started with it. We are also doing more of a block schedule this year. Since we are adding in new subjects and I want time to do experiments and projects this year, I thought a block schedule would give us the time for everything. I’ll let you know how it works out. We are adding in games to help reinforce everything he learns. It is a new year and I am so excited to see where it takes us!
