New Year of Fun

We started up our homeschooling year a little early.  I wanted the Hellion to have a break, but not such a long one that he forgot everything he had learned.  We took a few trips and had a lot of summer fun.  (I even managed to sneak some learning in).  We are easing our way back into the routine.  This year’s will be a little different.  We are adding US History and Geography and doing more games and projects than we did last year.  Hopefully this year will go well.  We started off with a Lego Mini-Unit and the Hellion had a blast with it.  He learned about the Lego company, who invented them, and how they are made.  He got to make some really cool creations and even got some math skills thrown in.  We started on Beast Academy and so far he LOVES it.  The fact that it is comic book format is awesome for him.  We will see how this year goes.  Hopefully it is even better than last year!
