Elephants

So I decided to check out the free materials from IFAW (the International Fund for Animal Welfare).  We got Never Forget, Elephants.  The DVD was actually very informative and we both learned a lot.  It also has lesson plans, a set for younger kids and a different set for older kids.  It is for classrooms, but you can make the activities work for homeschool as well.  Considering how we work, we decided to find some other videos to watch.  The one below is amazing!  An elephant gives birth and the baby isn’t breathing.  You have to watch this and see what she does.  The Hellion and I talked about how much that mother must have cared about her baby and other things associated with it.  Just giving warning, there is blood and other things very graphically shown.  My son thought it was cool, but not everyone will.
